You won’t believe they show such a lot of confidence!
ELTIS believes that language is learnt through exposure to a variety of occasions and not merely through classroom sessions.

Therefore we have well-planned activities for our students.

1. Free Maha Yoga classes for students: Our faculty, Ms. Niva Sarma took a lead in organizing free Maha Yoga sessions for our international students. This is a one-month programme that commenced on April 4, 2012 with an overwhelming response!

2. Annual Day: On Friday, March 9, 2012, ELTIS celebrated its Annual Day. The enthusiastic students and their encouraging teachers put up interesting skits, plays, dances and entertainment. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest of the programme H. E. Mr. Mohammed-Hacéne Echarif, Ambassador of Algeria. The Guests of Honour were Hon. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Consul General of Thailand; Hon. Dr. Mohammad Hossein Karim, Counsellor & Director - Science, Technology & Education Office of Iran; Hon. Dr. Othman Ibrahim A. Abubaker, Counsellor (Education & Training) of Libya; Hon. Mr. Baker N. Balunywa, Education Attaché of Uganda.

3. Cookery competition: Friday, January 13, 2012 was a busy and exciting day for international students. Participants from 8 countries presented traditional cuisines of their countries.  Mr. Sahdev Mehta, Chef of Marriott, Hinjewadi and Ms. Anuradha Daptardar, Sr. Faculty from ELTIS were judges for the competition.

4. Handwriting and Drawing competitions:
Handwriting and Drawing competitions were organized for the October and January batches on February 23 and 24 respectively. Students participated in large numbers. The winners of these competitions will be given prizes and certificates during the formal function of the Annual Day.

5. Annual Sports Festival:
Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body!
Annual Sports Fest was organised on February 9 & 10, 2012. Several indoor and outdoor games were conducted such as chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, swimming and football. All international students participated whole-heartedly and had a lot of fun outside classrooms.
